The Diablo 3 has no real skill tree but a form of it. Many critics say that this is a disappointing feature while others welcome the idea. The truth is that even without the skill tree, the Diablo III functionality of adding skills is the same as having one. The down side is that you will have trouble choosing what skill set to use as this functionality is not available. The skill tree is a set of abilities that are available for your character listed in a systemic manner. The skills need to be filled for an ability to be unlocked or for it to be used. The set skills have arrows pointing from one to another or more. This means that for you to acquire a certain power in combat certain others have to have been acquired. The come in handy for one to know the kind of keys to use to activate certain moves and skills.
The tree is a good follow up for increasing your skill level. The Diablo III despite not having such has functionalities onscreen that show you the abilities acquired by your character. The inability to use the skill tree effectively makes sure you have valuable skills. The accumulation of points determines the level of the skill hence how far up to can move on the skill tree.
Every character in the previous Diablo consoles has a skill tree in line with their abilities. These classes of characters are The Barbarian, the Demon Hunter, the Monk and the Witch Doctor alike with different point, arks. The beauty of the skill tree is to outwit each other through a set of skills. This is to say that the characters are not necessarily unmatched but have skills that when effectively used will see victory over the opponent.
