The Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a semi-permanent extra-strength conditioner that uses keratin (a protein found in hair, skin, and nails) to seal the hair’s cuticle for shiny, silky, frizz-free results. The treatment is safe for all hair types (including color-treated and chemically relaxed) and washes out in about three months. It may vary depending on the product, but mostly you begin by washing your hair with a special shampoo that removes any residual from previous products such as conditioners and also the residuals of pollution, wind and smoke.
