Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit. The Celsius scale is named after Anders Celsius. Anders Celsius was an astronomer in the 17 hundreds. He proposed a temperature scale where 0 represented the boiling point of water and 100 represented the freezing point of water. Fahrenheit was named after Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit who created the scale in the 1724. It is still used in some countries such as the United States.
