When we think of construction, we usually imagine houses and buildings. Secondary to that would be roads and bridges. There is a lot in construction that often goes unnoticed to the average person because a lot of the essentials are part of the infrastructure not visible to the eyes. These are complex networks of systems underground that transport rain water, household sewage and power or gas lines. Heavy construction is mostly dealing with the building of such infrastructure.
