Compare and synchronize files between local directories, networked computers, or preformatted writeable CDs and DVDs. zsCompare features built in support for compressed archives that allows you to compare and synchronize the contents of Zip files and Jars. You can save and reload sessions for common comparisons. The extensive set of command line options allow you to automate zsCompare to perform automatic comparison, backup, or synchronization. Results of a comparison may be saved to an XML file for usage in other applications, to maintain a history of changes, or for custom reports. zsCompare allows you to fine tune the comparison process by selecting the options zsCompare uses during the comparison. Files and Folders can be filtered to improve efficiency. zsCompare allows you to create and delete folders, zip files, and Jars and Open files to eliminate the need to switch between Windows Explorer and zsCompare.
zsCompare is great for:
